About Dr. Ali Shirzadi

Dr. Ali Shirzadi is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon and the founder of NeuroSpine Institute. With more than a decade of experience treating complex brain and spine conditions, Dr. Shirzadi is known for cutting edge surgical precision with deeply personalized care. He specializes in the treatment of brain tumors, vascular abnormalities, spinal trauma, adult spinal deformity, and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Shirzadi completed his medical degree at Texas Tech School of Medicine,where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for high academic achievement and leadership in medicine. He went on to complete his neurosurgical residency and a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at one of the highest ranking neurosurgical programs in the country, Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, His training alongside nationally renowned neurosurgeons helped shape his guiding philosophy: surgery should only be pursued when truly necessary.

Before founding NeuroSpine Institute, Dr. Shirzadi served patients across Middle Tennessee through Ascension Saint Thomas and Howell Allen Neurosurgery. Today, he brings that same commitment to excellence into a more personal setting—offering high-level neurosurgical care in an environment focused on clarity, collaboration, and compassion.

Outside the operating room, Dr. Shirzadi enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
